Suspects caught in Rajasthan after joint police operation
Mumbai police and Rajasthan anti gangster units said on October 19 that three people have been detained in connection with the armed attack on actor Tiger Shroff that took place in Juhu on the evening of October 18. Authorities say the suspects were intercepted at Kota railway station after Mumbai Police alerted Rajasthan police about their movements, and they were handed over to Mumbai teams for further interrogation.
What happened at the scene
The shooting occurred at about 7 pm on Sunday near Pushpa Narsee Park in Juhu as Shroff was leaving after a recreational outing. CCTV and social media video reviewed by investigators show motorcycle borne assailants opening fire at the BMW carrying the actor. Reports say between five and seven rounds were fired. Tiger Shroff was not seriously injured, but his driver sustained a gunshot wound to the hand and a bystander was also reported wounded. Emergency responders took the injured to hospital and police sealed the area to collect forensic evidence.
