Supreme Court orders Delhi transport to remain running as huge protest prompts station closures and train cancellations
India’s Supreme Court on Friday told authorities not to impose a blanket shutdown of trains and metro services in New Delhi ahead of an October 10 mass protest, even as police and transport agencies restricted entry at dozens of stations and Indian Railways cancelled multiple long distance services.
