A two week islandwide enforcement operation led by the Singapore Police Force has identified 280 suspected scammers and money mules tied to more than 633 scam cases with reported losses of about S$4.4 million, the force said on October 8, 2026.
Two Singaporean men were sentenced on Sept 30 for acting as money launderers for a Malaysian criminal syndicate that channelled scam proceeds through local bank and crypto accounts.
