China and EU Reach Understanding to Halve Chinese Hybrid Vehicle Shipments as Trade Talks Yield Concessions
After two days of high level talks in Beijing, China and the European Union announced a tentative understanding to substantially reduce exports of hybrid and plug in hybrid vehicles from China to the bloc, while opening discussions on market access and rare earth export licensing.
