Four Antonello da Messina Panels Stolen from MuMe in Messina During Ferragosto
Four Renaissance panels by Antonello da Messina were reported stolen from the MuMe regional museum in Messina on the evening of 16 August; two panels were later found abandoned near the museum and officials say the works could be worth up to €80 million.
